Don’t you wish that you could just sit in the daydream of certain memories forever? Some days are just too good, too blissful and happy to let go of, last Saturday was just one of those days. I woke bright and early and made my way out of a sleepy London and down to Brighton for some much needed girl time with two of my favourite people.
It was a day that felt instantly nostalgic with the sun filtering through the clouds to shine down onto this seaside city. We weaved our way through the lanes and down onto the pier where we dodged seagulls that were the size of small dogs and posed for pictures in the old fashioned photo booths.
A feeling of unquestionable happiness bloomed in my chest all day made ever stronger by the ache in my cheeks that came from laughing to hard and smiling too long. I’ve waited a long time to feel this lust for life return and now it has I’m ready to grasp it and hold onto this feeling incase the dark clouds of depression ever decide to reappear once again.
